WZone and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

As you might know, On 25 May 2018, EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law came into effect.

As an effect to this law, our customers requested that we make WZone compliant with the new GDPR.

That means that WZone comes with a new option, that removes all sessions & cookies from the website frontend.

If you activate the GDPR Compliance, WZone will remove all sessions & cookies that it might use. Also you won’t be able to collect any email addresses from the Checkout page. (if you had the )

Important! You need to make the rest of your website compliant with GDPR as well. This option doesn’t take care of everything, only sessions & cookies from our WZone plugin.
